President Biden, 80, narrowly avoided a potentially embarrassing fall on Friday while ascending the stage in Philadelphia to unveil a new clean energy initiative.

Footage of the incident reveals the President preparing to ascend the stage steps. After taking a single step, he stumbles but manages to regain his balance and continue. However, his next step nearly results in a face-first fall. Biden quickly grabs the railing, using it to steady himself and avert a more serious tumble.

The incident sparked a flurry of commentary on social media, with many users revisiting the recurring question of Biden's fitness for office.

One individual humorously predicted on platform X, "We are gonna see 'Mobility Scooter One' before this is over." Another user dubbed him the "Faller in chief."

One social media user expressed frustration at Biden's reaction to the stumble, writing on X, "The way he stops and looks and smiles after like it's funny is just so infuriating. Like dude please go to the nursing home already."

However, another user offered a more sympathetic perspective, stating, "I'm no fan, but that was a pretty cool recovery."

This is not the first time Biden has faced criticism for his physical stability. He has previously been seen stumbling on the steps of Air Force One and took a significant fall while cycling in Delaware.

Biden's visit to Philadelphia was to announce the Biden administration's ambitious $50 billion "Hydrogen Hub" plan, part of their clean energy agenda.
