{UAH} Frank Gashumba equates a wedding ring to a prison
In an interview with a local radio, Gashumba referred to a wedding ring as a prison. He says most people use the ring to keep people in abusive relationships.
Media critic Frank Gashumba has lived a single life for most of the time we have known him.
He doesn't fancy love and marriage and is openly always criticizing the practice.
In an interview with a local radio, Gashumba referred to a wedding ring as a prison. He says most people use the ring to keep people in abusive relationships.
"The smallest prison in the world is a wedding ring. This mental garbage you buy from the supermarket," he says.
Others are just going into marriages because of convenience. They leave the people they love and settle with men who have money for the wedding.
"You would rather live a single happy life than a troubled married life. People are badly behaved, the most amusing thing is that women don't get married to people they love; they get married to people who are ready," he added in the same interview.
