1. Kenya is divided into 47 counties, each with its own local government.

2. The largest county in Kenya by land area is Turkana, while the smallest county is Mombasa.

3. Nairobi County is the capital city of Kenya and is the only county considered a city county.

4. Turkana County is located in the northwestern part of Kenya and is known for its vast desert landscapes and Lake Turkana, which is the largest desert lake in the world.

5. Mombasa County is located along the coast of Kenya and is a popular tourist destination known for its beaches, historical sites, and cultural diversity.

6. Kiambu County is one of the most populous counties in Kenya and is known for its agricultural activities, particularly in tea and coffee farming.

7. Kakamega County is located in western Kenya and is known for its lush green landscapes, Kakamega Forest, and diverse wildlife.

8. Narok County is located in the Rift Valley region of Kenya and is known for its Maasai culture, wildlife reserves, and the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve.

9. Kisumu County is located in western Kenya and is the third-largest city in Kenya. It is known for its location on Lake Victoria, the second-largest freshwater lake in the world.

10. Nakuru County is located in the Rift Valley region of Kenya and is known for its geothermal activity, Lake Nakuru National Park, and the Menengai Crater.
