Top Biden Adviser Exposed: Frequent White House Visitor Pushes BIZARRE Trump Conspiracy

A Democratic strategist, notorious for propagating the conspiracy theory that the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump was a "staged" event, has been a frequent visitor to the Biden White House, as revealed by a review of visitor logs conducted by The Washington Free Beacon.

Dmitri Mehlhorn, a political advisor to Democratic megadonor Reid Hoffman, has had multiple meetings with aides to White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients and Anita Dunn, one of Biden’s closest advisers, as reported by The Washington Free Beacon. Hoffman, a vehement critic of Trump and a member of the Pentagon’s Defense Innovation Board, has donated $7 million to a Biden-aligned super PAC and $6 million to the anti-Trump Republican Accountability PAC in the current election cycle.

In the aftermath of the attempted assassination, Mehlhorn circulated a memo among journalists, urging them to depict the shooting as a staged event. He insinuated that "this ‘shooting’ was encouraged and maybe even staged so Trump could get the photos and benefit from the backlash." He further added, "if any Trump officials encouraged or knew of this attack, that is morally horrific, and Republicans of decency must demand that Trump step down as unfit."

The shooter, identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, was positioned atop a building approximately 150 yards from the rally venue. He fired multiple rounds from a rifle, one of which struck Trump in the ear. A 50-year-old firefighter, Corey Comperatore, was tragically killed while seated in the bleachers behind Trump. The motive behind the shooting remains undisclosed by the authorities.

Mehlhorn's conspiracy-laden remarks could potentially raise eyebrows regarding his regular access to the Biden White House, an administration that has frequently accused Republicans of indulging in conspiracy theories.

Visitor logs indicate that Mehlhorn and Hoffman met with Katharine Reilly, an aide in the White House Chief of Staff’s office, in September 2023. Mehlhorn has also had three meetings with Jordan Finkelstein, a longtime aide to Dunn, the Biden communications guru. Dunn has been under scrutiny due to mounting evidence of Biden’s cognitive and physical decline. She is part of a close-knit group of Biden advisers who devised a strategy to downplay his age-related struggles.

Mehlhorn has also met with two officials in the White House’s political office, Sabrina Bousbar and Jorge Santiago-Moreno, although the content of these discussions remains unknown. The White House has not responded to requests for comment.

While Biden condemned the assassination attempt, some of his advisers reportedly see the crisis as a political opportunity. They believe the shooting provides Biden a chance to demonstrate presidential leadership and call for national unity.

Following the exposure of his comments, Mehlhorn issued an apology, stating that his email was "drafted without consultation from team members or allies."

Mehlhorn has guided Hoffman in funding several anti-Trump projects and other contentious initiatives. Hoffman supported E. Jean Carroll’s sexual assault lawsuit against Trump and backed Project Birmingham, a controversial initiative that created fake social media accounts to discourage Alabama Republicans from voting in the 2017 special election for Senate.
