Senator Grassley Drops Bodycam Footage From Aftermath Of Trump Shooting (Warning: GRAPHIC)

In a recent development, Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) has made public the full bodycam footage from the Beaver County Emergency Services Unit (ESU), shedding light on the aftermath of the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.

According to Gateway Pundit, Senator Grassley had previously released a portion of the footage, which captured the arrival of Secret Service and local Beaver County officers at the scene where Thomas Matthew Crooks had opened fire on Trump and his supporters.

In a statement, Grassley said, “July 13 Bodycam footage provides more info than Secret Service will share with America. We NEED detailed answers ASAP on security failures. TRANSPARENCY BRINGS ACCOUNTABILITY.” He further explained that the video was obtained from the Beaver County Emergency Services Unit, in line with congressional requests.

The footage begins with a local Beaver County officer stating that a sniper had taken multiple photographs of Thomas Crooks before he initiated the attack on Trump and his supporters. The officer indicated that the sniper was positioned in a nearby building, in close proximity to where Crooks later fired his shots.

Later in the footage, a Secret Service agent inquires about two individuals who were detained following the shooting. However, the Beaver County officers on the roof claimed they had no knowledge of anyone being detained. The video also shows Crook’s lifeless body, blurred in the background, with blood visibly flowing down the roof.

Towards the end of the footage, an officer's radio can be heard asking, “Do we have access to a drone to clear this water tower?”

Senator Grassley has been meticulously reviewing all records received in response to oversight requests issued to federal and local agencies. He is committed to making all relevant records public in the interest of transparency.

In a social media post on Thursday, Grassley stated, “This morning I released the FULL extent of bodycam footage I've received from Beaver Co Emergency Services Unit showing aftermath of Trump shooting. The public's biz ought 2b PUBLIC. You can find the video on my website.”

In his press release, Grassley pointed out two significant concerns that arose after reviewing approximately 30 minutes of the footage. He noted, “The video footage additionally records law enforcement discussing the need to use a drone to inspect and secure the water tower on site. Records obtained by my office corroborate that USSS had assigned an Unmanned Aerial System drone operator to the event."

One of the videos reveals that the sniper who took a picture of Crooks was named "Greg". A Beaver officer can be heard saying, "I believe the sniper that saw these and sent the pictures is right inside this building. All right, so if you go to that window that's open and yell for Greg, that's the sniper who sent the original pictures. He saw him come from the bike, set the book down, and then lost sight of him."

The full extent of the bodycam footage provides a more comprehensive understanding of the incident, reinforcing the need for transparency and accountability in such grave matters.
