Democratic donors have reportedly issued a stern warning to Future Forward, a super PAC supporting President Biden, indicating that approximately $90 million in pledged donations will be withheld if Biden remains the presidential candidate for the 2024 elections.

This development follows a period of escalating pressure from within the Democratic party for the incumbent President to withdraw from the upcoming presidential race.

As reported by The Post Millennial, the New York Times has revealed that the threatened $90 million includes several eight-figure commitments to the Biden campaign. Future Forward, however, declined to comment on the Times' request for clarification regarding the discussions with donors and the exact amount of money being withheld from the campaign. One donor to the PAC disclosed that he and his associates have been "holding off" on their donations to the PAC since Biden's lackluster performance in the June debate.

The potential funding deficit for the pro-Biden super PAC emerges as the campaign braces for a challenging fundraising season. This is in light of the President's declining poll numbers since the debate, according to 538 polling averages. Additionally, Biden is under increasing pressure from Democrats to withdraw from the race. As of Friday morning, 17 Democratic lawmakers had publicly urged Biden to step aside from the general election.

The super PAC has reportedly been hesitant to make any strategic decisions until there is more certainty about the presidential candidate for the November elections. This information was shared by an individual familiar with the matter. Future Forward, which was Biden's primary super PAC at the start of the 2024 race, has already committed to spend $250 million on television and digital advertisements, commencing after the Democratic National Convention.
