Biden's Shocking Farewell: The Discredited Hoax He Revived One Last Time (WATCH Video)

In his farewell address to the Democratic National Convention, President Joe Biden once again invoked the contentious "very fine people hoax," a claim that has been repeatedly and thoroughly debunked.

This claim falsely asserts that former President Donald Trump referred to the neo-Nazis involved in the Charlottesville, Virginia riots in August 2017 as "very fine people." However, the transcript of Trump's remarks clearly shows that he "totally" condemned them.

According to Breitbart, Biden initially used this hoax as a springboard to launch his campaign in April 2019. When confronted by Breitbart News in August 2019 with evidence that Trump had indeed condemned the neo-Nazis, Biden denied it and reiterated the hoax. https://x.com/i/status/1825743974155342019

Despite being debunked multiple times, including by the left-leaning Snopes website, Biden has continued to perpetuate this falsehood. The hoax was also debunked during Trump's recent debate with Biden, former Vice President Mike Pence's 2020 debate with then-Sen. Kamala Harris, and on national television during Trump's second impeachment trial.

Adding a new dimension to the lie, Biden recently claimed that the Ku Klux Klan paraded "without hoods" because they saw an ally in Trump. This claim is ironic, considering that as Biden attempted to link his opponent with antisemitism, thousands of pro-Palestinian demonstrators, some of whom were waving flags of Hamas and other terror organizations, protested outside the convention venue.

Biden's political journey, thus, seems to have come full circle. He entered the political scene with a lie that has fostered division, hatred, and fear across the nation, and despite the best efforts of well-intentioned Americans to counteract it with the truth, he appears to be leaving it in the same manner. This persistent propagation of the hoax, despite its debunking, raises questions about the commitment to truth in political discourse and the potential impact of such falsehoods on the unity and harmony of the nation
