The Democratic National Convention (DNC) was marked by a palpable sense of tension and discord within the Biden camp, as reported by RedState.

Despite Joe Biden's public declaration of equanimity during his speech, his actions spoke louder than his words. After delivering a fiery, contentious address, Biden promptly left for a week-long vacation in California, effectively snubbing the rest of the convention, Vice President Kamala Harris, and the looming presence of former President Donald Trump. His absence during the speeches of the Obamas and Harris was a stark contradiction to the unity he professed.

According to RedState, Biden's departure was not the only sign of internal strife within the Democratic Party. In a surprising turn of events, Harris was conspicuously absent from the second night of the DNC, where the Obamas were scheduled to speak. However, her husband, Doug Emhoff, was present and even delivered a speech. A source familiar with DNC planning revealed to Fox that Harris's absence was a calculated move, made out of "sensitivity and respect" to Biden. "Obamas are still not on the White House good side," the source said. "It would not be helpful to their relationships."

The decision to keep Harris away from the convention was reportedly made to avoid the awkward optics of her appearing alongside the Obamas, who Biden perceives as instrumental in ending his reelection bid. "We are in tricky territory," the source admitted, hinting at the simmering resentment within the Biden camp. It seems that Harris is attempting to placate Biden, possibly out of fear of retaliation in his final days in office.

However, the question of respect and sensitivity becomes questionable when considering how Harris treated Biden during the convention. She relegated his speech to a late-night slot, a move that could be seen as dismissive. This lack of respect extends to the American public, who the Democrats are supposed to serve. Instead, they appear to be more focused on internal power struggles and identity politics.

Adding to the intrigue, Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz, attended an event in Milwaukee on the same night as the DNC, a move that is not typically made during a convention. This decision aligns with the report of internal discord within the Democratic Party.

Despite not receiving a single primary vote from the American people for the top position, Harris spoke about her "people-powered campaign." She also made promises about lowering the cost of living and reducing grocery prices, despite having been in office for over three years and having voted for legislation that contributed to inflation.

The inconsistencies and contradictions within the Democratic Party, as evidenced by the events at the DNC, raise questions about their ability to deliver on their promises. The internal discord, coupled with their inability to address the nation's pressing issues, paints a picture of a party more concerned with power dynamics than serving the American people. The actions of Biden and Harris during the DNC reveal a party that is far from united and far from delivering on its promises.
