Rookie Secret Service Agent's CARELESS Social Media Posts Expose MORE Shocking Security Failures At Butler Rally

A Secret Service agent, who played a key role in planning the security for a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where an assassination attempt on President Trump took place, is currently under internal investigation.

The agent is suspected of leaking sensitive videos and photos from her protective assignments on social media platforms.

As reported by Gateway Pundit, the agent in question was the official site agent for the rally held on July 13 in Butler, Pennsylvania. This event was marred by the tragic murder of Corey Comperatore, a rally attendee, who was killed in front of his family. Susan Crabtree, a correspondent for RealClearPolitics (RCP), has been investigating the matter.

A review of the agent's Facebook account revealed a photo that appears to have been taken from Mar-a-Lago, President Trump's Florida residence. The photo was accompanied by a caption that read, "A sunset to be grateful for…" along with a series of hashtags and emojis. Crabtree noted that most of the leaked videos were found on the agent's private Instagram account.

According to sources within the Secret Service, the agent was relatively inexperienced for such a critical security role. However, the position is rotated among the Trump detail and not assigned based on merit or experience. There is growing concern within the agency that the agent may be held responsible for the security failures at the Butler rally, not for her social media posts.

The lead agent at the event, despite having decades of experience within the Secret Service, lacked experience on a protective detail. This is the innermost ring of security for presidents, first ladies, former presidents, and their families.

The assassination attempt on President Trump served as a wake-up call for the Secret Service, according to sources close to Sean Curran, the detail leader. "Some agents have referred to it as their 9/11 moment where people are opting back onto the detail," a source within the Secret Service community said. "Morale is high, people are motivated. These agents [protecting Trump] are stiff-jawed with steel in their spine."

However, this incident is not an isolated one. It is part of a larger pattern of dysfunction within the Secret Service detail assigned to Trump, according to Crabtree. Over the past year, internal strife has distracted agents from their primary mission of ensuring Trump's safety amid increasing threats.

"Rancor, recriminations, and serious formal misconduct complaints have plagued all levels of the Secret Service detail assigned to protect former President Donald Trump over the last year, distracting the team from its core mission of securing Trump from physical harm and preventing an assassination," Crabtree wrote.

During a May 15 all-hands conference call, Curran and his deputy, Matthew Piant, addressed these issues. They expressed their dismay over what they termed "rumors, innuendo and toxicity" within the ranks. They condemned an incident where cellphone photos were taken of two support staff members sleeping while on duty at Mar-a-Lago, a breach of professionalism that was circulated among team members for amusement.

Piant labeled this prank a betrayal of trust and emphasized that accountability should have been enforced differently. "Those encountering the sleeping individuals should have simply held them accountable by waking them up with a nudge," he said, according to RCP. However, many rank-and-file agents voiced frustration that those who fell asleep were never disciplined.

This incident underscores the need for a thorough review of the Secret Service's practices and procedures. The safety of our nation's leaders should never be compromised, and those entrusted with this responsibility must be held to the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
