Kiyonga tipped NRM SG slot as M7, Lumumba fall out

Bad blood is brewing between the NRM party chairman, President Yoweri Museveni and his secretary General of the party Justine Lumumba as the former accuses the latter of inefficiency, causing intrigue in the party and poor management skills.

Sources privy to this information have revealed that, the ping pang at plot 10 Kyadondo road NRM offices is not about to end soon, we have been told that the fountain of honor has already tipped former defense Minister Chrispus Kiyonga for this slot to replace Lumumba.

Among the reasons as to why Museveni fell out with Lumumba, our insiders mentioned, first she failed to harmonize party matters that saw very many Mps and historicals lose their seats, failure to handle matters of the disgruntled Mps who lost in the elections, thirdly failure to work with young people at the NRM secretariat which all emanated from the irregularities that were surrounding the selection of Youth leaders who were going for a trip in China, this caused her to fall out with the head of Youth desk Robert Rutaro.

Political pundits argue that Lumumba proved to the country that she is a failure during the last years party primaries that was characterized by irregularities marred by voter bribery, intimidation, torture, multiple voting and impunity through use of state operatives, As if that was not enough the ongoing hearing of election petitions where now over 10 Mps belonging to NRM party have been thrown out of parliament due toacademic papers by high court judges across the country.

Recently Lumuba appreared on a television and apologized to the public for having done things hurriedly, and that they did not scrutinize the academic papers since they got certifications from the regulatory body ofUganda Nationa council for Higher education and UNEB.

"We do apologize for what is happening to our MPs, we believe that NRM is a mass party, but even though, we would have solved this before it reached to this magnitude, we didn't know that this would happen but since it has happened we are going to get back on the drawing board and handle these matters" Lumumba quoted to have said on one of the televisions.
However immediately, various people from different spheres of life critic her comments on most social media platforms and question marked her intelligence, integrity, conflict resolution and management skills and concluded that all are still wanting some thing that has angered her boss M7.
