EX-DEMOCRAT JOE MANCHIN: PARTY NOW ‘TOXIC’  Retiring Sen. Joe Manchin, I-WV, blasted the Democratic Party during a Sunday interview. Manchin was a Democrat his whole life until he left the party this year. Manchin said the party’s “brand” has become “toxic.” The “Washington Democrats have tried to mainstream the extreme,” he said, adding that he has told Democratic leaders “to figure out how you lost somebody like me.”  READ
