Turkish Foreign Minister Fidan: We convinced Russia and Iran not to help Assad

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said Ankara had persuaded both Russia and Iran not to intervene militarily in Syria during the offensive by armed opposition groups that toppled the regime of President Bashar al-Assad.
