{UAH} Dr Congo president H:E Felix Tshisekedi has secretly started flying his close family members out of Congo for safety.

 

The strength of M23 rebels and their threats to march towards Kinsasha has forced president Felix Tshisekedi to jet out his family and close relatives to Belgium for safety. Tshisekedi has flown his beloved mother, Marthe Kasalu Jibilkila to a safer haven in Belgium. Kasalu who was the wife of Étienne Tshisekedi, a three-time Prime Minister of Zaire and opposition leader during the reign of Mobutu Sese Seko could not be left in the unsecured Dr Congo now although the East African Community and the religious leaders are actively praying and physically involving themselves to see that the dialogue between the Dr Congo government and the M23 rebels positively comes to conclusions so that Dr Congo can have peace and restore her lost political glories.  Felix Tshisekedi has followed in his father's footsteps in politics, leading the Union for the Democracy and Social Progress party and becoming the President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 2019.
