Before you feed on the noise of Democrats on USAID, and trust me they have created a whole lot today. To shut down USAIF Trump does not need Congress because USAID was never created by Congress. The organization was actually created by president Kennedy in 1961 by an executive order. So a whole whack of money has been dumped out there through a single executive order that was signed by one man, and one man is just about to shut it down. And do you know why he is shutting it down? Because sine USAID was created, no one has actually ever stood up to do an oversight to it.
The job for DOGE is to walk through all these organizations, find the rocks in them and flip them up to find how tax payer's money is being spent, what they have found in USAID, Elon Musk has said it very well, USAID is not an Apple with a worm, USAID is a worm.
You cannot clean it you need to simply shut it down. Here we go.
