{UAH} YOUTHS IN BUKAVU OPEN A VERY POPULAR RESISTANCE MOVEMENT

Young Congolese, seized by the nation's well known spirit of patriotism, have taken a very outstanding initiative that leaves the M23 troops plunged into a very difficult situation.

As an answer to the many abuses the M23 is regularly committing in the area hundreds of youths in the entire Bukavu region have set up numerous militia groups that may soon turn into real guerrilla movements that can even set ablaze the entire Great Lakes region. The newly founded resistance movements are successfully chasing away those M23 soldiers left behind to guard the positions their advancing army have conquered. To the people of Bukavu anything to do with M23 is looked at as an insult and therefore everyone is giving the young militias all the necessary support to eradicate from the area anything that appears to remind the presence of a force of occupation. M23 now finds Bukavu as an area which is very difficult to control. The action of these youths has given vigour to the Wazalendo youth militia group which has achieved special prestige among the population as a very heroic force that has now won honour  and glory where the official government forces shied away from confronting the enemy. With the Wazalendo now praised by the entire population and with the Bukavu youths adding to the recipe and further on with the Burundi army returning to the battlefield having sensed how the Burundian capital of Bujumbura would be quite within range after the M23 and Rwandan forces have captured the nearby Congolese city of Uvira, Rwanda, Uganda, and M23 are now finding it rather very difficult to nourish their ambition of marching to Kinshasa. Their forces are numerically insufficient in numbers and will continue to be lacking in numerical strength to confront what is going to become a nationally generalized guerrilla operation. The Bukavu youths are indeed going to inspire the entire Congo into military action against the invaders. Congo is exploiting this bravery by encouraging the population to respect President Tshisekedi's appeal for national mobilization to kick out the enemy from the country. Reports of a massive police defection to the enemy side are proven false with evidence showing how M23 supplies Congolese government police uniforms to young Tutsis who in turn pronounce loyalty to M23. 

Tshisekedi is growing stronger day by day. He's enlisting a lot of support from the continent.And inside the Congo-DRC itself  the population is solidly identifying with his action. And this very rightly comes at the time when the M23 is choked up with shortages

and its leader, Corneille Nangaa is labelled a traitor who has betrayed his country in opting to work with M23 and in allying with Kagame.
