{UAH} Pemphero

Sunday, 23 February. Story 1.
---------------------------------------------------

Hello Pemphero, post this for mystical Sunday. I am a woman aged 39 from Mzuzu.

In 2019 I got very sick. I thought i was going to die. My husband and my family tried everything- both hospital and traditional healers. After almost one year of illness, I got better like I was never sick. Three months after I got better, I returned to work and then one day when I arrived home from work, I found my husband home with a witchdoctor and a certain woman. This witchdoctor was one of those who helped me to heal.

I was told that for me to get better my husband had to sleep with that woman as her body has healing powers. So for me to stay healthy my husband must be sleeping with her at least once every week. I had no choice but to believe and accept.

After some few months, my husband told me that the woman is pregnant and so he will be living there twice a week. That was in 2021. Now there are 2 kids there.

So what brings me here. Last month, I bumped into that witchdoctor at the field In Kasungu. He was so drunk and told me that it's not true that the other woman was the one who healed me. Apparently, she was my husband's side chick and he paid the witchdoctor to lie to me so he can marry her as a second wife.

I have confronted him. He has said nothing for 6 weeks. When he is confronted by myself and both his family and my family he keeps quiet. That woman I went to talk to her all she said is talk to your husband not me.

I am so confused and devastated. Thinking of the way forward, I don't know what to do. That witchdoctor however he has now changed his statement. He is saying he was just drunk but its true the other woman was used to heal me. So what to believe ??
