A joint donor energy development project worth over $200 Million dollars, about 520 billion shillings, has been signed here in Kampala, a move that is expected to raise over 100 megawatts from small independent power producers. Dirk Niebel, the visiting Germany Minister for Economic Cooperation, Daniel Graymore, the Country Director for the British Department for International Dev't - DFID and Peter Lokeris, the acting Energy Minister signed up the deal.
