[UAH] Is this true of Nairobi now?

A buddy just email me from Nairobi and part oif her email says

"... and of course the last was to check out if my shoes and stuff have been chewed by rats. I was told this morning that Nairobi has an infestation of rats and bedbugs!!!!in this day and age and in such a city. Apparently they even have posters all over town encouraging people to be watchful."
