The new Chief of Defence Forces - General Katumba Wamala - has promised to defend the integrity of the nation and lead the UPDF to greater heights. General Wamala was speaking at a hand-over ceremony where he was accorded the instruments of power by his predecessor - General Aronda Nyakairima.The ceremony attended by senior UPDF officers was presided over by retired General Salim Saleh who described the UPDF as the 'Envy of the World.'
Gen. katumba seems to have forgotn what happened to him when he tried to actually work and be effective in the police. This is not a chance for you to out shine da boss, you are just there to pave way for the true NRM cadre-Kaihura, then Muhoozi. Keep your head down bro.
