Wow!!! Those were days with full of vigour. Wonderful memories too. When dance was just for enjoyment and modest. We would dance just for the sake. Do you have the same memories too? When songs just broke the horizon every week! I remember Plantation Boy was a hit in Kampala. Think it was the best on that Album when we were introduced to Boney M. And they looked like us and sang like the Bazungu! Quite sad that the man died in 2010. RIP. And its quite sad that many of our loved ones are no more, friends, relatives, school buddies! RIP. And sad memories too!!!
Anyway, the song was good. Just get the lyrics. It was so down to earth since many of us had been to the plantation and we knew the heat of a sunny day. We could relate to him somehow. We had just been introduced to slavery and apartheid.
