Imat Katherine Auma was being taken care of by her granddaughter Agnes Akwee in Owiti village, Amuca parish in Lira sub-county, about 11km outside Lira town. Akwee was in 2011 beaten to death and she left 4 children. Since then, life has become so difficult for the family, all school going age have dropped out of school, food is problem leave alone clothing and beddings.
Worst, the last born who was one year when the mother was killed is severely malnourished.
