{UAH} State House employs 756 staff while Office of the President employs 841 INLUDING Aisha Kabanda

That is the cost that you have to bear to maintain the smooth running of your State House. According to the government policy statement, State House needs Shs 205bn during the next 12 months - a 71% increment from last year's Shs 58bn.

State House employs 756 staff while Office of the President employs 841. Of these 110 are presidential advisors. That is 1,600 staff in total minus the guards.

Of the 110 advisors, only 6 are advisors on agriculture and none on industries, tourism or trade.

Simply sickening. But that is the price we pay for allowing mafia to run our government. Unfortunately the peasants from whom the money will be collected have no idea about this and do not connect their sorry plight to the greed at State House.We need to trim the powers of the president surely. Cant we have a law limiting the namba of advisors the president can appoint? Are thoz advisors also vetted by the appointments committee? Is there a body that audits the perfomance of thoz advisors?
