DRC: New fighting between FARDC and M23 north of Goma

Calm returned Monday, July 22 afternoon in the group Kibati, north of Goma, after heavy fighting between the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC) and the rebel March 23 (M23) in the day . The spokesman of the army in North Kivu, Colonel Olivier Hamuli, announced without elaborating on the outcome of the fighting.
