Luzira prisons land may be given to investors. Prisons boss Byabashaija says if he had an opportunity to get an investor who can relocate Luzira prison and take the land, he would be willing to enter into a negotiation. He spoke this while facing the Parliament Human Rights Committee about the proposal to relocate Luzira Prison to Mukono District which was rejected.
The question is not the investment but the awarding of tenders if even there is. This bss of recycling the same people as investors is ridiculous.
