{UAH} DR Congo: President Kabila's Tour of East symbolizes restoration of State authority

The head of State arrived on November 20 in Kisangani, capital of the northeastern province and third city in the country , to the top of the regional tour by car.

That day marked the first anniversary of the capture of Goma , the provincial capital of North Kivu (East ) by  the M23 , the former rebellion consisting mainly of Congolese Tutsis , which was supported , according to UN experts, by Rwanda and Uganda , a charge the neighbors of the DRC always denied .

With this journey of 1,000 kilometers and the mode of displacement, vehicle, aims to show that the east of the country is once again under government control.

Joseph Kabila had already done this route by car in 2009 .
