1.'Amos Omolo, Muhuhya, born 1937. A member of the Fire Brigade Department of tehe Uganda Police. First represented Uganda in the 100 Yards and 220 Yards. Current Uganda Champion at both distances. Best times of 9.5 and 21.5'

 

2.'George William Zebikire, Mukiga, born 1931. Tailor. First represented Uganda in 1959 in the 6 miles, for which event he holds the Native record of 30 mins 32.6 secs. Selected for the Marathon in Perth.'
