Have a look at this regular issue of Ang Bayan (The People), which is a weekly newsletter of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines. It concentrates on the crisis of energy in the country and the ever-increasing protests it leads around these issues. They are a lesson for Uganda, because so far, Ugandans have not yet been able to organise powerful social and political protests around issues related to poverty and social and economic conditions. The Philippines therefore is a very good example for Ugandans struggling to get rid of the corrupt and nepotistic NRA tyranny.
