We are getting reports from paramedics that three people have been injured in a two alarm blaze  in Scarborough. Fire fighters were called to a building on Lawrence Avenue East, near Orton Park that is East of Markham road, at about 7.30 pm this evening. The fire has been stopped but we are being informed that two of the patients did not have vital signs when the paramedics arrived.

 

Let me add on this that of late we have got a spate of fires in the city but some of the fires are caused for people are failing to throw out Christmas trees, people Christmas passed, and yes I know we developed an emotional touch to these trees for they were very nice in the season, but you know what? Christmas passed and today we are in a week to say goodbye to February. Call your city to take the God damn tree to a dump. Our temperatures are so cold for the winter is not moving, I have just read a report that the next day we expect to get a temperature of zero in this city will be 11 March. So as the system report tonight we are going to be in minus and many days double figures of minus and will not get a temperature of zero till 11^th of March. That means that we are using heaters to the utmost, and that means we have very dry rooms and dry walls. When a Christmas tree sits in such a condition it becomes an ignition center. Yes we love them I know but look in their face and then dump them. Yes I said tonight !!!!!  Geez.

 

The city of Toronto is to post a cold alert in the city tonight as the winds continue to howl. Wear well.
