Appeal for assistance: Akello Salume, 16, witnessed how parents of Wanglobo Primary School killed her father, ending her chance of education.She witnessed the attack and tried to defend her father and was herself injured. She saw a group of parents armed with sticks, clubs, bricks and stones surround their home on Thursday February 20 at around 7:30 and they started advancing towards the house where her father was. They set thye house on fire forcing her father to come out and they descended on him killing him and setting his body on fire.
Keny Charles founded Wanglobo Primary School in late 1970s on his land before he joined the army. The school was taken over by government.This girl love education so much and twice she sat for PLE in a rural school all the time she gets aggregate 14. She is now unable to continue to S1 as her father, the founder of Wanglobo Primary School was brutally murdered by some parents.
In 2012 she sat and gor aggregate 14 but soon her father was arrested over the same land issue, last year she sat again and got 14, this time the father is killed and she has no hope of ever continuing with her education unless some well-wishers come in
