{UAH} : UNAA Causes Goes Live!!
Dear UNAA members,
It is our pleasure to announce our initiative of UNAA Causes and it's new
website; www.unaacauses.org.
As has been mentioned in the past, Ugandans abroad have been looking for a
way to engage in various causes that affect their lives and the lives of
their loved ones directly. From health care and education, to legal
assistance, cultural awareness for our children and fashion.
This effort is geared towards continuing to grow our organizations
relevance to you, our members, making us ever more relevant as the largest
organized group of Ugandans in N orth America.
This years theme is health care awareness, which is an ongoing problem
among Ugandans here and at home that is always looking for fresh ideas and
continued attention. Every year we will highlight a new cause, but we
will not forget the causes and initiatives of years past. Again, this
will be an ongoing discussion year after year.
We encourage you all to involve non-Ugandans in our causes so we can
continue to strengthen the bond that has brought us together through
diversity.
We look forward to seeing you at our kickoff luncheon in San Diego and
look forward to your ideas.
