{UAH} M7 Youths_Striking Taxi drivers stop Museveni convoy
If this Mbabazi thing is really true, it is really giving M7 sleepless nights....
From giving Ebyaffe to this .. What next? I told you could surprise Ugandans by declaring he is peacefully stepping down. Have you noticed he is even no longer asking Ugandans "Nyenje wa?" Uganda is full of surprises.

KAMPALA.
Taxi drivers this afternoon intercepted president Museveni's convoy that was driving from Kampala to Entebbe state house as they demonstrated over Kampala Capital City Authority's relocation plan.
Teargas canisters and live bullets had to be fired to disperse hundreds of taxi drivers who parked their commuter taxis along the road at Namulanda town along Entebbe road.
Equipped with placards reading; "Old taxi park is our origin, where are you Mr President," "President tuyambe batunyigiriza" (We are being oppressed) taxi drivers plying the Entebbe road demanded the president to stop and listen to their grievances over KCCA plans.
"What's happening here?" Museveni reportedly asked the taxi drivers loudly chanting their grievances. After a while, the president asked the drivers' leadership led by their chairman Mr Stephen Kidde to come along with his convoy to state house for a meeting about their dissatisfactions.
Mr Henry Kasibante, the assistant secretary of the Entebbe stages drivers and conductors' association (ESTADA), said they had sought for a meeting with KCCA but all in vein.

"We don't support such acts of striking, but the situation forces us to do so," Mr Kasibante said. "The Usafi Park where KCCA is relocating our taxis, firstly it's very small to accommodate more than 200 taxis, there's no security, no access roads and the authority doesn't provide us with legal stages, despite banning what it calls our illegal stages," he added.
By press time, Mr Museveni and the management of ESTADA were still in a closed door meeting.
