With the looming victory over NRM by the DP Candidate, I am intending to sponsor a victory drink up for ADJONO lovers in Nakawa. Unlike Katerega who derided the opposition for taking this election as if its a presidential election, I think its a very significant election.
The constituency being fought over is not only in Buganda but its bang in the heart of Luwero, a region and a people who spilt blood and sweat as Museveni hitched a free on their back to the state house, without paying for it. The fact that they have decided to cut the umbilical cord that kept the president alive, means that they are ready to bury him, for the child has failed to grow even while out of the womb. The question, why it took BaLuwero this long, and the significance of this by election, is one to be examined at a later date, after the celebration has died down.
So, to those who want to celebrate with me get in touch. The loss of a by election by a government, is celebrated the world over. Lets not be different.
