{UAH} GEORGE OKELLO'S CONCERNS!

Omwami Abbey Semuwemba;

Much as George Okello may not have any academic title his name that i know of, to me, he is to UAH what a crown is to a king. He is "The Omba" and the wise man of UAH, albeit, with little time for dumbos and those who disagree with him. His contribution on the forum is a must read for many of us who want to learn about countries and ideas we have never visited. His decision not to contribute to this forum until further notice, due to failure to address his concerns, is an indictment of of our unchanging attitude to situations. And perhaps, this explains why a hospital or school can rot in a country such as Uganda, without anybody doing anything about it. This must not be allowed to creep into UAH. Issues raised by members must be addressed democratically. Failure to do so will lead to rot. The moderator should have a conversation with Ochan Otim, who used to moderate a successful Acholi forum. Words on the street have that it has deteriorated to a ghost forum with little going on. This is because he failed to deal with member's concerns during its the forum's heydays. Any complain was never dealt with and instead, the members were thrown out to the detriment of the forum.

Mr Semuwemba, you must reach out to George Okello as a member and see how his concerns can be addressed. Your nonchalance on the matter is no longer tolerable and be reminded that should George Okello start a rival forum, he is likely to move with a few members from this forum. This, together with decision to withdraw are undesirable, because he will not only weaken UAH but also as "The Omba", he will have given up on, war on ignorance which is ever raging on this forum. So it's imperative that we look into Mr G. Okello's complains, one by one without infringing members rights. Some of us cannot stay sane without, imbibing from an Okello or Mulindwa's dose. Mr Moderator you must act!

Akim
