Pastor Arrested for Conning Followers Over 5 Billion Shillings, Charged for Obtaining Money by False Pretense

The man of God Pastor Jimmy Kakande 47 is held at special investigations Kireka for conning his followers’ dollars, Euros, shillings totaling 5bn.
Pastor Jimmy Kakande a seventh day Adventintist church soya Bunga has joined the bandwagon of former club rouge and adfast manger in Uganda in telex free money scam. His flocks are accusing him for conning them their money to open up accounts to telex free and pray to God that he multiplies it.
The excited Christians sold all their property and gave all the money to pastor kakande not knowing that he was enriching himself.
‘Pastor kakande had performed a lot of miracles to the extent that I trusted him more than I trust my husband. Being a pastor and man of God I thought he could not do such thing, He duped me into selling all my property with hopes of getting my wealth multiplied in a short time without knowing that he was conning me. I am so confused that that I can even terminate my life on earth; narrated a female victim.
Pastor Kakande who also owns chunks of land and estates in Gayaza, has been in internet conning business with a lady identified as Helen Bagerena for a long time. The wife was acting as his secretary.
When police raided their home in Bunga, they found several documents and telex free registrations forms. Police also discovered the identity card in names of Helen Bangarane who acts as business associate in telex free USA. Among the conned is the Kenyan tycoon who lost Shs 120m, Reverend catholic father in wakiso who lost usd1500, a fellow pastor who comes from Congo also lost USD 1500.
Among the conned is business lady who is an engineer and became too suspicious on Kakande’s business after losing 43m and quickly reported the matter to Old Kampala police station. He was later nabbed and taken to the station where he was later transferred to SIU kireka.
When pastor kakande was interrogated, he denied of being connected to Muramuzi though they were in the similar trade. So far 100 people have come up to pin man of God; he is currently being detained at SIU kireka SD file reference number 50/09/2014 as police are carrying out investigations.
A charge of obtaining money by false pretense has been put on him.
