{UAH} That Museveni and his family are alone responsible for a broken nation is absurd
Since I declared my strong opposition to the absurd suggestion that Museveni and his family members are alone responsible for the distress the country and her people are going through, my opponents are going round telling stories that I am Museveni's master spy in the Diaspora and seeking some money and a job to survive. They said they have information to prove their allegations. I can't wait to see it.
The problem is that these people don't disclose their names and their addresses. When pressed Wake Up Uganda confessed it is a group of four people: three males and one female. Still we would like to have their names and know when and where their organizations were formed. Some of these individuals are reported to have formed two or more organizations so the same people attack under different organizations to deceive Ugandans that there are many people opposing me. These could be one or two individuals. So keep that in mind. Also note that these individuals never discuss substance which I would welcome but just hurl insults that some describe and therefore endorse as a test of my resilience. Worse still while one hand is attacking me, the other of the same person is dialing me to ask that I join them!
I have opposed Museveni's policy perhaps more than anyone else since he introduced structural adjustment program (SAP) in 1987. I have written to him complaining about the wrong policies. I have sent him my books to help him change course. So my criticism has been constructive if only they had taken it seriously.
It would be wrong for anybody under normal circumstances to suggest that Museveni and his family alone should be held accountable. To justify this move some have come up with the concept of "Musevenism" that they can't define. They had thought we would jump on it in order to pin Museveni on the ground joined there by his wife, children and half brother. The rest including NRM as an institution would be absolved. These former or even still close advisers are joining the opposition in a hurry and while there they want to lead those groups they have joined in order to protect their skins. As a result they have triggered resistance in many areas.
While we should continue to apply pressure on Museveni to relinquish power we should not turn a blind eye to those who advised him even before he became president in 1986 because serious crimes including in Buganda and other parts were committed before 1986 and many more since then.
