The Hon. Samwiri Lukubo Mugwisa, former Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Industry 1980-1985; a veteran UPC politician; a Ugandan patriot and elder statesman, died last Saturday, 6 September 2014.
A church service was held for him at St. Stephen Anglican Church, Kisugu-Muyenga, yesterday, Sunday, 7 September 2014.
His remains will be interred at his ancestral home in Kanamba, Mityana, today at 4:00pm. The home is next to Mityana Saza Headquarters.
