{UAH} 'Lady Baden Powell visit in Kampala, Uganda- around early 60's... Baden Powell House...

Christo's on Kampala Road:It was on Kampala Rd, next door to the old Nommo Art gallery between Uganda Company and the Odeon Cinima/Shankadas etc opposite Fresh Foods Supermarket. It was Kampala Road during the 60's/early 70's....notice also the newspaper and curio vendor outside the shop


2.'Lady Baden Powell visit in Kampala, Uganda- around early 60's... Baden Powell House.This was in Kampala at the Girl Guide Headquarters (the building seen is infact the Scout side. In the rear is the building now used as DSTV HQ in Buganda Rd. and was also used by the first Lincoln school. St John is next door to the right of the picture.

5.The minaret and surrounding landscape of Mardin, Turkey. The minaret is part of the Great Mosque of Mardin, which was built in the 12th century by the Artukid Turks.

This is an incredible place to visit. The architecture is amazing, and the people are wonderful!
