{UAH} Cabino assaults Gloria Kgosi?
Controversial Botswana Televison (Btv) newsreader, Gloria Kgosi, reportedly got something she did not bargain for when her insults earned her verbal blows from her colleague, Cabino Kokole.

In a fit of rage, Kokole is said to have assaulted Kgosi of "le sale ka Lorato lele kalo" fame after she allegedly called her (Kokole) a mmadirabanyana, a derogatory term used to refer to a woman with loose morals. It is understood the 'scuffle' started just before the 7pm news bulletin that Kokole was scheduled to read, which did not sit well with Kgosi.
"We were preparing for the Setswana bulletin on Thursday night when Kgosi saw the schedule. She started throwing tantrums and harsh words in the office. We were really stunned by her words, but we just ignored her at first. I walked away from there but a few minutes later, I heard noises coming from where Kokole and Kgosi were standing," said a source.
"I heard Kgosi say to Kokole 'ke mmadirabanyana yo o sa itseng go bala dikgang' (Kokole is woman of loose morals who does not know how to read the news')."
Kgosi was apparently unhappy about the fact that the schedule was altered and Kokole had been reading the news for the whole week. Apparently, Kgosi was no match for Kokole who rained a series of blows on her without reply. "Not even once did Kgosi react to Kokole's blows," the source said.
Kgosi, who is considered the blue- eyed girl of the powers-that-be at the Mass Media complex is no stranger to controversy. Recently, she caused a social media frenzy after she posted on her twitter account that: "Lea amogela banyana ba Btv lesang go amogana jacket ahhh. Go amogana diaparo gase bokgarebe sedibeng BTV news ao!!" Kgosi has just returned from Malaysia where she was pursuing a degree in Communications and Media Broadcasting.
When contacted for comment, Kokole hung up and declined to answer her phone at the time of going to press. Efforts to contact Kgosi were also futile.
