{UAH} Former "president" Wacha speaks out

Folks;

Is it a coincidence that a few days after one of us here - I think it was Abbey - asked whether these "former presidents" are still alive, here we get a personal account from one of them?

Despite his age, Mzee Wacha is lucid about his recollections, and allows us into his estimable background that, I believe, qualified him for that temporary, albeit ceremonial presidency. 

But he raises a tiny question about Maj Ogole; Mzee Wacha says he recruited Ogole in Bungoma to join the war of Liberation; yet, all along, I had been made to believe that Ogole had been a central figure in the ranks of the exiles Uganda Army establishment! Did Ogole really join the Liberators that late in the struggle?
