I wonder if he is now grown up.

During Obote 2.........I am walking in town ...Kampala. It was school time yet there was this 8 or 9 year old boy walking in the street.

I asked why he was not in school.

He gestured and told me that he could not hear. (he could talk)

I said "sorry".  He went on to  tell me that it was because of a gun which was fired near his head. He was forced to listen to the gun

I asked him What/whose gun? he said UPC / UNLA soldiers

He told me he was from Buleemezi.
