Can You Spot What's Hiding In Each Of These Photos? It May Surprise You.

JANUARY 25, 2015

We all know that trained snipers can hide in places we'd least expect, naked from the human eye. Yet we never knew they were this good. That's where Simon Menner comes in. He contacted the German army back in 2010 to show us just how deadly these killers can be.

Menner took two different photo shoots with the snipers. One took place in a "boring" forest in northern Germany with soldiers who were young and inexperienced. The second was in the German Alps with a group of elite soldiers. The effect of both shoots is quite startling, to say the least.

This leads to the obvious question: Where exactly are these snipers?

The sniper is on the right behind the piece of wood on the ground next to the second tree.
The sniper is under the twigs and branches on the left.
The sniper is under a moss cover behind a small tree with a bent trunk on the left side of the image. The sniper is under the left side of the birch tree.

The sniper is on a small hill close to the edge of the forest on the right side of the image.
The sniper is on the right of the path inside the small bushes.
The sniper's muzzle is visible on top of the two big boulders in the lower right corner.
The sniper is straight up from the big boulder in the lower left corner, where the color of the stones changes from light to dark.

You have to realize that the time, patience, and training going into being a sniper is beyond compare. I was not able to spot them at all without help. How about you?
