{UAH} Each Nation in Uganda has its own marriage norms customs and laws

Mps should instead focus on when traditional systems have failed. Then they can say there is a Zungu version which can be applied in court.

Mps should advocate for strengthening each nations processes in resolving marriages.

If one guy demands his marriage gifts back, the elders on both sides can resolve the issue. Mind you if one guy does it it doesnt mean all guys in a nation do it.

I would expect Radios like Toro, CBS to educate the applicable audience on such matters. after 8 pm when kids are in bed.

e.g This woman who gives birth only to twins and her land was sold by the man after he said to her that she had bad luck. I expected the woman to proceed with her case to her husband's clan elders and her clan elders.  And to the police ( to recover her stolen property). If the clan elders had failed then she was supposed to got next step i.e. towards Mengo elders. etc etc.

May Mw. Dan Muliika please tackle this issue. We don't need colonial / imperialistic laws.
