BESIGYE-MBABAZI ALLIANCE IN 2016 IS POSSIBLE???
Kizza Besigye is a shoe-in.He already has that thing on his head as still the best option available for the opposition in 2016. He is also, without a doubt, the best asset FDC have got! Oh, yeah...He is the only candidate who can pull it off, has pulled it off(but was arguably cheated) and will probably pull it off. So, Mr. Amama Mbabazi can only be a running mate in case of any coalition between the two but a lot of people in the opposition won't feel very "reasonable", but it's a winning tactic in case electoral reforms are pushed through b4 the elections.
Maj Gen Mugisha Muntu, on the other hand, is still learning his ropes and, for some reason, few people have connected with him.I haven't read Muntu's speech from the Serena FDC policy launch. I don't put just a tremendous amount of faith in Uganda politicians' speeches, though I'm nonpartisan on that. I suppose I'll read the synopsis. Muntu has no choice but to also endorse Besigye if he is still interested in going for it again. The problem is that the radical fringes of either party and the rest of the opposition will raise such a cacophony that the voices of reason within FDC might go unheard. Well, I suppose that there are positive aspects to the radical edges of the spectrum; it does free you from the burden of thinking, right?
