Village house shocks mourners

Meanwhile mourners were thrown aback by the state of the Mayanjas' ancestral home. For a family that has produced four musicians who earn millions, mourners said, it was strange that the small village house in which Mzee Gerald Mayanja grew up was still the only establishment there.

The mcee of the day further stunned mourner when he cautioned them not to use the small latrine lest they 'have another funeral'.

"Please do not use that latrine, I beg you. We do not want to have another funeral here," he pleaded.
