{UAH} KIBUULE BREATHES SIGH OF RELIEF

In the wake of a flash cabinet reshuffle by the C-I-C last weekend,
former State Minister for Youth and Children Affairs, Ronald Kibuule
(also Mukono North MP) is one happy man.

Not only has he safely betrayed his mentor J.P Amama but he was also
shifted to Minsiter of State for Water (a post vacated by Betty
Bigombe). According to this story:

he opens up on the hard-knock that his term has been.

I have been reporting on youths groups that were sending out messages
calling unofficial conferences and these are some of the guys who gave
Kibuule headache throughout. They were on his case right from the
start, saying a Youth minister should be chosen from among youth MPs.

On another occasion, they issued him with a certificate of
incompetence. It's during Kibuule's term that the Youth Livelihood
Programme (YLP) was established.

The pesky Poor Youth have also been involved in fighting Kibuule and
using the world wide web to send out dossiers on him.

Byandaala too must feel relieved!
