{UAH} Ocen, WBK//Ababu quits PAC

Folks;

At this point, it's pointless for Ababu Nanwamba to self-suspend from the chairmanship of the Parliamentary Accounts Committee. However, he seems to be asking to be excused from all Parliamentary duties, which would mean he wants to quit as MP as well.

There are no Parliamentary rules that I know of which would allow an MP to voluntarily quit Parliament and them decide to come back at a latter time. I don't think Ababu will come back at all, and he's preparing himself for the worst-case scenario: likely, he'll be indicted or even jailed.
