Los Angeles to receive Buganda Kingdom (Uganda) "Katikkiro" Prime Minister, Charles Peter Mayiga in style today.

Friends of Buganda Kingdom and Uganda in Los Angeles will today, Tuesday, May 19, 2015 welcome Buganda Kingdom "Katikkiro" Prime Minister, Charles Peter Mayiga in style. The Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga together with a 30 member person delegation from Uganda will be received at the Los Angeles International Airport VIP Lounge by newly appointed Ssaabasajja Kabaka's representative in Los Angeles, Omugave Ndugwa. Mugave Ndugwa will be accompanied by Ssaabasajja Kabaka's representative in San Francisco, Omumbejja Dorothy Musoke Mugerwa and members of the Uganda community in Los Angeles.

From Los Angeles International Airport the Katikkiro will be escorted by the Diplomatic Protection Unit to the Air Tel Plaza Hotel In Van Nuys, California where he will be hosted to a VIP reception by the Hotel Management (invited guests only).

On Wednesday, May 20^th, 2015, at 2:45PM, The Katikkiro will give a Public Lecture: "The Role of African Traditional Leaders in the Modern World" at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), James Coleman African Studies Center.  The public is invited and we encouraged many friends of Uganda to come and be part of the lecture.

N.B: In the Morning Princess Victoria Nkinzi, Hope Mukasa and Omugave Ndugwa will visit Hollywood Film Producers and Directors to promote/initiate programs to develop Culture through Film in Buganda.

Thursday, Morning, May 21^st, 2015,

1. 0930am: The Katikkiro will visit the world famous J.J. Paul Getty Museum in (Brentwood) Los Angeles where he's expected to initiate a relationship with the Kasubi Tombs. The public is also welcome to join with the Katikkiro.
2. 11:30am, Katikkiro to visit KECK Hospital in Los Angeles to initiate dialog for medical support in Buganda.

Thursday, Evening at 06:30pm, Reception and Dinner at the Knollwood Country Club, 12024 Balboa Blvd, Granada Hills, California 91344 where the Katikkiro will perform the following:

1.  The Katikkiro will officially Perform the official Installation of the three Ssaabasajja Kabaka's representatives:

1. Omugave Ndugwa, aka James Ssemakula for Los Angeles,
2. Dorothy Musoke-Mugerwa, for San Francisco, and
3. Moses Mayanja for Seattle, Washington.

1. Presentations/ Recognitions of promoters of Buganda in America
2. Mobilize "Ettoffaali" fundraising for Buganda development projects
