{UAH} Kampala Region is Total Disaster - Hon Minister

Unless there is an immediate government remedial plan - Kampala which now spans a space of more than 15 km is a prelude to the total destruction of Lake Victoria, River Nile , the soil profiles and worse intoxication of the people in this region.

Industries have been placed anyhow in Wakiso, Mukono, and the area around Kampala.

There is no sewerage system . no waste water handling system, no raod design but a systematic chaotic excavation of the hills, valleys etc in the process destroyin everything in inclduing wet ands and river systems.

One can't imagine that in Kampala Metro area there is no single river (surface or underground) system with totally clean water despite that water is originating from springs!

There is a garage in every corner spilling toxic oil everywhere - no oone controls placement of these lethal facilities. The same goes with metal fabricators and toxic painti material.

It is a total disaster!

The population explosion has meant contagious diseases here are becoming more prevalent.

In the above sense the central region is on the verge of total irreversible intoxication and environmental collapse.
