Chairman Tanga Odoi is abrasively agog about his job.
He could not miss a chance to exert his power. Not only did our erstwhile Electoral chairman commit a simple offense of trespass, but he also destroyed personal property. I think Mr. Odoi should have asked the local office of his party to reach out to the pre-mature campaigners, and order them to remove those offending posters.

Dr Odoi removed the posters on Monday, saying the party banned early campaigns earlier this year.
"As I was coming towards Iganga Town, I saw posters of some people on houses, asking for votes in NRM primaries. I stopped and together with my team, we plucked them off because campaigning is unacceptable before the official time," he said.
Dr Odoi was on a mission to address party delegates from Iganga, Namutumba, Bugiri, Kaliro, and Namayingo districts about the new guidelines during registration.
Under the new guidelines, the registration of members, which has been the function of village chairpersons, has been placed in the hands of village registrars.
The NRM official said any form of early campaigning, including the distribution of posters might result into disqualification of whoever will be found culpable.
Dr Odoi also warned members against infighting in an attempt to win support.
