Folks;  

This is the kind of defense I was talking about earlier, but obviously, it has too late to save Dr. Juma's nomination. 

The president should have anticipated that Juma's nomination would face stiff hurdle, and once word went out that majority of MPs were aligned against her, Uhuru should have come out and made this defense.
